U.S. Auto Supply
U.S. auto sales have slowed noticeably in March, but the industry started April prepared. Auto-selling rates are above 17 million for an 11th straight month, March dealer activity seemed to sag after an early Easter holiday. March sales gained 3.1 percent for a SAAR of 16.6 million. But they recovery were swift, U.S. dealers started April with a 65-day supply, just one more than the 64-day average for that date over the previous 24 years.
