With a combined rating of 30 mpg, the Malibu’s fuel efficiency is 2 mpg lower than the previous model, highlighting its underperformance in this area.
The Malibu is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. While the touchscreen interface is easy to interpret, it is losing ground compared to the competition, and it does not have a convenient rotary control knob as a secondary method of interacting with the interface.
