Vehicle Values and Depreciation Rates – July 2016

Beginning of July Movements

– Overall car values decreased 0.54% last week. That’s the highest overall weekly depreciation rate since the first week of 2016.

– Compact  Midsize Car segments received the highest weekly depreciation rates at -0.83%.

– Midsize Car segments received -0.81% rate change.

– The Subcompact segment depreciation rates adjusted -2.87%,

– The Compact Cars at -2.83%

– Mid-size Cars at -2.39%.

– Overall truck values decreased by 0.37%.

– Compact Luxury Crossover/SUV received weekly depreciation rate of -0.79%.

– Compact Van rate change is -0.70%.

– Mid-size Luxury Crossover/SUV is at -0.67%.
