Milton, Georgia
Milton, located about 30 miles north of Atlanta, is a city in Fulton County, Georgia. Boasting an equestrian and rural heritage, this city was incorporated on December 1st, 2006 from the unincorporated northernmost part of Fulton County. Milton is named in honor of John Milton – a Revolutionary War hero – and its population in 2019 was estimated to be 39,587; making it the 24th most populated city out of 664 cities in the state.
It is estimated that Milton’s household’s median income was $136,020 in 2021. However, 3.2% of families live in poverty. Whites make up the largest racial/ethnic group in the city (61.9%), followed by Asians (17.4%) and Blacks (11.5%).
