1964 Dodge 440

The Dodge 440 was separated from the smaller Dart 440 in 1963. It features a 119 inch wheelbase, identical to the Dodge 330 & Dodge Polera. The 440 was available as a 2-door sedan, 4-door sedan, 2-door hardtop & 4-door station wagon. It was considered a “mid-range model” and was on the same level as the 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 440 featured less chrome & much simpler interior, yet was lightweight with a big-block 426 engine which made it a much sought after car choice for racing enthusiasts.
